Members add value

Increased membership of EARMA is essential and a prerequisite for the recognition of EARMA. It is not a goal in it self, but a way to measure the confidence in EARMA. The growth in research in Europe demands not only more project management, but the increased role of external funding of research also gives room for new or adopted types of research administration, especially in the strategic and policy oriented area. EARMA must base its membership activities on a critical analysis of the need of research managers and administrators in Europe; involve members in activities, networking and policy development. Being a member of EARMA shall be an added value.
