This signifies the importance EARMA members assign to improving links between universities and SMEs. GENOVATE is a FP7-funded action research project which operates across seven European partner universities with different institutional and national contexts for gender equality. First of all, SARIMA 10th anniversary Conference was a big success. It was held at the seashore town of Port Elisabeth within the beautiful compound of Pine Lodge resort just receiving the pleasant refreshing breeze from the ocean behind the corner. The EUA Funding Forum 2012 in Salzburg Austria discussed the current trends in university funding. According to Research Europe (24/05/2012) a large number of national and international research funders met in Washington to set up, what they are calling, the Global Research Council. The aim is to improve international cooperation by addressing issues of shared interest.

I will attend a European Commission organised stakeholder's meeting, May 8-9, to discuss the two Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions in Horizon 2020 that will support network-based projects:
