EARMA 2 March Event - Innovation Union

More than 50 members of EARMA participated in the event organized by the ERA-Working Group 2 March 2011 in Brussels.

The excellent presentations by Clara de la Torre, Laura Pontiggia and Peter Fisch from the European Commission, and Panel Poneta, a coordinator of a FP7 Projecet, gave a perfect outset for the working group discussion on the Green Paper published by the Commission: "From Challenges to Opportunities: Towards a Common Strategic Framework for EU Research and Innovation funding". The working groups was organised around the main chapters in the Green Paper, and the aim was to discuss and provide a common understanding and knowledge of the document and to have - and give - input to the ongoing consultation. The consultation will run until 20 May 2011, and 10 June 2011 the Commission will invite to a stakeholder event in Brussels to follow up on the consultations and to outline the way towards the next framework programme. 

The ERA-WG is now collecting the input from the working group discussions, and soon their report will be published here on this website. The report will be open for discussion and will form the first draft for an EARMA policy paper and EARMA's contribution to the consultation - so we hereby invite you to contribute!
