Dear EARMA members, dear Participants of the 17. Annual Conference in Braganca Portugal,
On behalf of the EARMA Board, The Annual Conference Committee and our Host in Portugal and at IPB I hereby thank you all for your participation and contribution.
The EARMA AC 2011 was held with more than 220 Participants from 31 Countries. From the Pre-conference event 22 June to the EARMA Policy Forum 25 June, members, guests, chairs and speakers made a fantastic effort to contribute to a high level - high gain conference.
A special thanks goes to our International guests, that gave the possibility for networking on a global scale. The Collaboration with NCURA was reinforced, and soon a call for Fellows in the EARMA-NCURA Fellowship Programme will be launched - If your institution wants to become a Host: It is not to late - let us know. Also our other colleagues in sister associations in INORMS: SRA, ARMS, SARIMA and DARMA together with friends from China, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and other countries made this EARMA conference a true global event.
A big thanks to the Municipality of Braganca and the IPB for being wonderful hosts of our conference! A new and wonderful picture of Europe has been shown to us, and we take it to our hearts.
Thanks also for the tremendous and outstanding job by speakers and chairs, making this conference to one of the best conferences of EARMA ever, when it comes to high quality presentations, workshops and outcome. We really do appreciate your contribution!

You are hereby invited to share your own experience and pictures from the conference with your colleagues. A competition for the best pictures is hereby launched: there are 2 categories: 1. Program and 2. Leisure - There will be a prize for the 2 best pictures - selected by the Board at the Board meeting in August - deadline for contribution is 1. August 2011 (please sent to webmaster@earma.org) . Pictures shall be uploaded to www.earma.org
