The countdown for EARMA’s annual General Assembly is well underway and the pending election of new EARMA representatives is a time for fresh impetus and approaches so be ready for a flurry of activity as members participate in their new choice for the Chair of EARMA and Ordinary (and alternate) Board member positions.

With individual election statements made and candidates primed to deliver a personal election pitch on the General Assembly stage, it is only a matter of days now before members will be weighing up each eligible nominee and casting their vote!

Taking place in Bologna on Wednesday 27th March (15:30 – 17:30), the General Assembly is a unique opportunity for all individual and institutional members to engage in determining EARMA’s general policy and direction as well as the composition of its Board who are responsible for the implementation.

With a simple majority required to elect the Chair and Ordinary Board members returned in order of the number of votes, the results will be verified and declared at the General Assembly. The successful candidates will go on and represent EARMA in their respective role for a two-year period.

Individual members are entitled to cast one vote whilst institutional members can cast three votes each. Please follow instructions carefully and look out for your voting card!

The voting cards are to be issued at the conference registration desk. For Institutional Members voting cards will be with the account administrator if attending or assigned to the first member from your organisation that registered. If you would like to assign the voting cards to a particular person please email secretary@earma.org before Friday 20th of March 17:00 CET.
