Dear colleagues,¨

Today we have crossed 500 members of the EARMA website, and this means that since we have launched the new revised web of our association, we have dobbled the membership each year! Thanks to everybody for contributing to make EARMA an interesting and giving network.

EARMA is well represented at the INORMS 2012 in Copenhagen and contributes to the program and international environment.The growing role of internationalisation of research gives an important role to the international network of research managers and administrators. 

I will attend a European Commission organised stakeholder's meeting, May 8-9, to discuss the two Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions in Horizon 2020 that will support network-based projects:
1) ITN (Innovative Training Networks) and 2) RISE (Research and Innovation Staff Exchange).

This is an ideal opportunity for members to feedback suggestions of where the programmes can be improved from the viewpoint of research managers.

The overall objective of the symposium is to analyse barriers related to framework conditions and legal governance for ST&I cooperation with U.S. partners and to put forward recommendations on how to develop solutions.
